Two tropical systems are approaching Hawaii this week. Tropical Storm Erick is likely to become Hurricane Erick and approach the state by this weekend. Current models show Erick weakening and passing to the south of the state, but we may see rain and wind from the system if the current track holds.
Tropical Storm Flossie has also formed in the eastern Pacific. Flossie is also expected to strengthen into a hurricane and is heading in the general direction of the state. However, it is still too early to project how close Flossie will come to Hawaii.
Check back for updates on both Erick and Flossie throughout this week on this radio station.
