I thought to take a quick look around Honolulu and Airport area to see the "calm before the storm" and it was a tidy, clear day in paradise!
Everyone was prepped for the potentially hazardous landfall of Hurricane Douglas (Category 1 with maximum speeds of 90 mph, averaged 18 mph as it edged closer to our main Hawaiian Islands) and the various scenarios of close-lashing winds.
