A New Jersey woman is facing multiple charges after she went berserk inside of a Motor Vehicle Commission office because the line was too long. Police said that Shawna Joseph, 28, of Jersey City, was asked to leave the office, located in Bayonne, after causing a disturbance over the length of the line.
She complied with security's request and left, only to return a couple of hours later. An office manager confronted Joseph, and she shoved him away before trashing equipment in the office. Security guards and police officers tried to detain her but she fought back and started punching and kicking them.
Eventually, they managed to pin Joseph and take her into custody. She was charged with criminal mischief, drug possession, simple assault, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and hindering apprehension. Police said that she caused around $23,000 worth of damage to the office. The manager she attacked was taken to the hospital and treated for undisclosed injuries.
