The Hawaiian Islands presents Home in the Islands™ (HITI) with Henry Kapono & Friends, bringing over 20 of Hawaiߵi’s most iconic and emerging entertainers together on one stage for one magical night under the stars to celebrate the soundtrack of growing up in Hawai‘i and its most prolific and iconic entertainers, whose songs became firmly rooted as the soundtrack of local living in the Islands.
More than just a concert, HITI is a partial benefit for the Henry Kapono Foundation and will be one of the state's first major live showcases in more than two years. HITI is projected to inject over $250,000 into the recently decimated local entertainment industry while helping to provide work for nearly 500 workers of the Hawaiʻi based music industry workforce and related professionals. A welcome endeavor after the devastating effects COVID-19 has taken on the music industry in Hawaiʻi. Additionally, HITI is a fundraiser for the Henry Kapono Foundation. 25% of the concert net proceeds and $1 from every ticket donated will support the development and expansion of Grant & Scholarship Awards and Music Industry Programs that benefit the Music Community.
