Michael Jackson's official full-length short film "Ghosts" (1996)

Michael Jackson’s “Ghosts” is a 1996 short film directed by special effects legend Stan Winston (best known for his Oscar-winning work on Aliens, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Jurassic Park) based on a story by Michael Jackson, best-selling novelist Stephen King, Winston, and Mick Garris. As King observed, the film includes “some of the best, most inspired dancing of Jackson’s career”. Premiered at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival, Michael’s second foray into the horror parody genre not only features the groundbreaking music, dance and visual effects of a Michael Jackson short film but also a lasting message about the importance of tolerance and acceptance in our world. The film reminds everyone how wrong it can be to judge and even fear others just because they are ‘different’.
