Earlier this year, Brazilian surfer Maya Gabeira shredded a 68-foot wave in Portugal. After reviewing video of the feat, Guinness declared on Monday that her wave was the biggest ever surfed by a woman. "To set the world record has been a dream of mine for years," the 31-year-old said at the certification ceremony. Incidentally, the men's record--an 80-foot wave--is also held by a Brazilian, Rodrigo Koxa, and was set at the same surfing spot in Portugal.
