Warner Bros. has shared the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. In the trailer, Jude Law’s Professor Albus Dumbledore is shown in a classroom at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He also tells magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), “I can’t move against Grindelwald. It has to be you.” The teaser goes on to give fans a glimpse at Johnny Depp as a pale, long-haired and disheveled Gellert Grindelwald--the franchise's main villain. Also back for the sequel is Katherine Waterston as Newt’s love interest Porpetina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Newt’s non-magical friend Jacob Kowalski, and Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone. The Crimes of Grindelwald is set some 70 years before Harry Potter went to Hogwarts and learned to become a wizard. It hits theaters on November 16, 2018.
