For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Douglas, located about 1750 miles east-southeast of Hilo,
Hawaii. Douglas is expected to move into the Central Pacific
Hurricane Center area of responsibility Thursday night or Friday.
Elsewhere, no tropical cyclone formation is expected during the
next 5 days.
