Posted June 16th, 2014 @ 1:24pm

Police and Sheriff's Deputies are searching for an inmate who escaped from Oahu Community Correctional Center Monday morning. The outstanding inmate is 23-year-old Daniel Skelton. He was missing after the 6 a.m. headcount. Skelton is described as Hawaiian, 5'10", weighing 145 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen fronting OCCC on Kamehameha Highway. The facility went into lockdown immediately after the discovery.  It was lifted at the main building just before 11 a.m. However, Annex 1, where the escape happened, is still locked down while the investigation continues.
